Successful conferences bring summer cheer
Protector were pleased to attend the recent commercial and public sector risk management conferences that took place in Liverpool and Manchester.
In June, we attended AIRMIC for the first time. It was good to meet with the market as the face to face engagement levels continue to return.
As part of our commitment to living our values, Protector sponsored the 5km morning run along the river, with a handful of colleagues participating in the run whilst others handed out water from our stand at the finish line. This was a great opportunity to raise our profile within the market and we are looking forward to attending again when AIRMIC is in Manchester in 2023.
Following AIRMIC, Protector headed to the annual ALARM Conference which is held in Manchester. We have been coming to this conference for a number of years now and it was once again great to see people in the flesh following two years of mostly remote working. In addition to our stand at ALARM, one of our Risk Engineers, Andy Gray, delivered a workshop on Escape of Water in housing properties which was both well attended and received great feedback from delegates.
We look forward to continuing our support of ALARM and stepping forward as The Challenger, so keep an eye out for workshops at future events and we will be pleased to see you all again next year!
